Miranda Zhang–In My Eye
My piece of art is called “In my eyes”. Surrounded by viruses, there are five scenes drawn in the eyeball, which are the most outstanding things happening during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The scene at the left is me sitting in front of my chromebook. I can only see my teachers and classmates online. I hope I can go back to school soon.
In the top scene, my grandma and I are crying. She lives in China and I live in the USA.
Because of the pandemic, travel is not allowed and people have to stay home, so we cannot see each other. The right two scenes are about masks. We wear masks when shopping at stores. Medical staff wear masks when treating patients. Masks are everywhere!
The scene at the bottom is a nice little playground wrapped by bright yellow ribbons, with the words “caution!”on it. We want to play, but we are too scared of the virus.
COVID-19 has changed our lives! What do you see in your eyes?
I hope you like my drawing!
